The team at Analyzed, a group of mathematicians that uses modern algebraic algorithms for big data analysis, approached us with a brief to create an identity that would tell the story of how a simple data point can turn into wisdom. We prioritized showing over telling in this identity and researched many of the visualizations that Analyzed had created from analyzing data.The challenge was to show how data points are collected, gathered, filtered, analyzed, and eventually displayed as valuable information for key decision making in a static format. After synchronizing multiple visualizations of data points we finally created a visual identity that showcases data points turned into a plane of information that is in constant motion. The plane evolves and through multiple crests creates an on-going pattern of growth and wisdom. This identity is at the foundation of the entire visual system from being applied to the logo, to patterns, and brand assets.
